Easy Aloo Matar

Ingredients:
Potatoes - 4 - 5 ( medium size )
Frozen peas - 1 cup
Tomato sauce or puree - 1 cup
Ginger, Garlic & Chilli paste - 1tsp.each
Coriander powder - 1tbs
Haldi - ½ tsp
Garam masala - ½ tsp
Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Dry Mathi leaves - 1 tbs
Cumin seed - 1tsp
Hing - 1 Pinch
Salt - to taste
Oil - 5 tbs
Sour cream or yogurt - ½ cup

Method of preparation:

In a pressure cooker heat oil & fry cumin and hing. Add chilli, ginger, garlic paste and fry for 1 min. Add tomato sauce and fry for 3-4 min. Then add all dry masala except mathi leaves. Fry for 1-2 min. Now add the potatoes and fry for 1 minute. Then add peas and 2-cup of water.

Put the Pressure cooker on medium heat for 8-10 minutes or give 2 whistler. Take the steam out. Open the cooker and put on medium heat. Now add sour cream and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add dry mathi leaves and mix well.

Serve hot with puri, paratha or chapatti.
