Method of preparation:
Pour the butter in microwaveable dish or bowl and cook for
1 min on high heat in microwave. After that add the ricotta cheese, milk powder
and sugar stir it well. Cook it for 5 min.
Stir again and cook for 3min until it becomes light yellow
color (All together it takes 15 min) . Then add cardamom powder, saffron, chopped
pista -almond (save little bit for garnish) and few drop of food color. Mix
well and pour it in a plate.
Garnish with chopped pista - almond and let it cool and cut
into diamond shape.
Note: If you want to make two-color burfi, you can make it
when the mixture becomes light yellow colour, make that into two equal part
of burfi and in one part add pista and green color and in second part add almond
and yellow color or let it white. Now pour one part and spread nicely than spread
second part over it. Let it cool and cut into diamond shape.
