Paneer Tikka

Paneer is Indian cottage cheese made by curdling fresh milk.

A favourite among vegetarians there are several delicious dishes made with Paneer.

Ingredients :

   
Paneer (you can cut in cube or rectangle shape)
- 50 or 100 grams
Ginger paste 
   
Green chilly paste
- as per your requirement 3 to 5 
Jeerapowder
- 1 tbsp 
Garlic paste
- 1/2 or 1 tsp.
Chilli powder. 
- 1/2 tsp
Capsicum (cut slice )
- 1
Oil or ghee. 
- 3 tsp
Lemon juice. - 1 -tsp

How to prepare:

Take garlic, jeera powder, green chilly paste, ginger and chilli powder in a bowl. Put the ingredients in a mixer and make a fine paste. Add salt to taste.

Take paneer pieces, coat this paste on all sides and keep it aside for an hour or so, the paste will dry a little. Grill for about 8 to 10 minutes until Paneer becomes dry and crisp, OR fry paneer pieces in a pan with oil or ghee.(In slow flame for deep fry).

Take a fry pan, heat 2 or 3 tsp of oil or ghee in it. Put Onion and capsicum pieces and fry, then add the ground mixture to it and saute well. Then take a plate or bowl, put all the cooked paneer pieces and add the mixture of onion and capsicum. Then sprinkle some chat masala for extra taste, and a little lime juice on top. Garnish with some coriander leaves cut into very small pieces

Arrange tomato slices on top for decoration.
