A simple variation to the popular 'Dal / Parippu' Vada from South India. Here grated carrot is added for a healthier twist. Get recipe !

Ingredients :
   
Grated carrot
- 1 cup
Thur dhal
- 1 cup
Garam masala powder
- 1 tsp
Coriander leaves
- 1 spring
Curry leaves
- 1 spring
Green chilies
- 5
Big onion
- 1
Chilli powder
- 1 tsp
Asofoetida
- a pinch
Salt - to taste

Method:

Soak the thur dhal in water for 30 minutes and grind it without adding water. Don’t grind it to a smooth paste.

Add grated carrot, chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chilies, salt, asofoetida and garam masala powder to grinded dal.

Mix thoroughly and make small vadas. Fry the vadas in oil.
