Rava Vada / Semolina Fritters

Ingredients :

Semolina (Rava)

- 1 cup

Butter or ghee

- 1 tsp

Milk (enough to make a batter with Semolina (rava)

-  

Soda powder

- 1/4 tsp

Chopped onion

- 2 dsp

Green chillies cut into round pieces

- 1 dsp

Finely chopped ginger

- 1/2 dsp

Finely chopped coriander leaves

- 1 dsp
Salt - to taste

Method :

Mix semolina and butter with the hands. Take some cold milk and dissolve soda powder in it. Add this to the semolina and make a thick batter. Add all the other ingredients to it. Heat oil in a pan. Shape the batter into round balls with a small hole (like doughnuts) in the middle and deep fry.

Serve hot.
