Poha/ Avil /Beaten rice vadas

Ingredients :

   
Beaten rice - 2 cups
Potato - 1 big
Green chillies - 3-4
Onion - 1 big
Coriander leaves    
Peanuts/Groundnuts    
Salt - to taste
Oil - for fry

Method:

Take 2 cups of beaten rice, wash and drain off all  water, keep aside. Boil/cook, peel and mash 1 big potato. Chop 3-4 green chillies, very finely. Chop 1 big onion finely.

Chop some coriander leaves. Roast, peel and pound/grind finely some peanuts/groundnuts.

Now mix all the above ingredients, salt to taste and mash well to make a binding mix.

Take lemon sized balls, flatten on palm and deep fry in hot oil.

Serve hot with coriander/mint chutney and tangy tomato sauce.
