Cooking Method :
To begin with, add a glass of thick coconut milk into a pan under medium flame. Lets dilute the coconut milk by adding half glass of water and let it boil. Add the ingredients such as grated carrot, thinly chopped green chillies, onions and ginger along with cubed potatoes into the pan. Put salt to taste. Close the lid and let it cook for about 8-10 minutes. Once the potatoes are cooked, mash some of the pieces to thicken the gravy.
We can now add green peas into the pan. Add ¼ tsp of turmeric powder and stir well. Close the lid and let the ishtu cook for some more time. Finally add pepper powder and switch off the stove.
