Paneer Amritsari is a vegetarian recipe prepared by frying cottage cheese covered in Masala Marinade. The recipe, a lip-smacking treat is an excellent finger food for parties. It is the most sought after recipe equally loved by both by vegetarians and Non vegetarians.

Ingredients :

Finger size Paneer - 10-12 pieces
Gram flour - ¾ cup
Thinly minced ginger - ½ tsp
Thinly chopped garlic - ½ tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Garam masala - ½ tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Water - ½ cup
Oil - 2-3 tbsp

Cooking Method :

Lets begin by mixing ingredients such as gram flour, thinly minced ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilly powder and salt for the masala marinade. Add ½ cup of water and mix well using a spoon. Pour the mixture into a mixer jar and grind well to make a thick paste. Take the thick marinade in a glass bowl and marinate the finger size paneer pieces in it. Keep the paneer aside for around half an hour.

Now lets fry the paneer, it might barely take 3 to 4 minutes. Let the paneer seep into the oil and let a masala crust be formed around the Finger size paneer. Your Paneer Amritsari is ready; you may serve with tomato sauce or chutney for perfect combination.
