Ingredients :

Coconut Oil - 3 tsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Shallot - ½ cup
Fenugreek seeks - ½ tsp
Ginger - 1 tsp
Garlic - 1 tsp
Kozhuva - 1 cup
Scraped coconut - 1 cup
Black paper - 1 tsp
Green chilli - 2 tsp
Tomato - few pieces

Cooking Method :

To hot pan pour some coconut oil. When the oil is hot we will splutted mustard seeds. After popping out of mustard, add some red chilli and curry leaves to it.. Now we will add shallot, which will give a different flavour. Add fenugreek seeds to it. Then add both ginger and garlic to it.

Now add Kozhuva or Natholi (Anchovy) to it. Add also some green chilli and tomatoes.. Grind coconut mixed with turmeric and cumin. It gets a good flavour of coconut oil and curry leaves. At last we will add some black pepper powder. We dont use chilli powder in it.. we use green chilli and black pepper in it.. Peera mulakittath is ready. it is a good combition with kappa, rice or chapathi.
