Ulli Bajji or Onion Bhaji

Ingredients :

   
Sliced Onions - 2nos
Gram Flour - 1cup
Red chilli powder - 3/4 tsp
Asafoetida powder - a pinch
Oil - as required
Salt - as per the need
Water - as required

Preparation :

Take the gram flour in a bowl and mix it well with the ingredients and required quantity of water to make the batter.

Heat oil in a pan.

Dip the onion slices in the batter. Slices should not be too thick or not too thin. Make sure that the onion slices are coated all over with the batter. Now fry the slices in oil till it turns golden colour. Take care not to burn them.

Serve the crispy golden onion bajjis in a tray. Decorate with two or three onion slices. The entire procedure should not take more than twenty minutes so you can make it in any urgent situation.
