The batter for this snack from Kerala is mixed with ripe Jackfruit pulp, wrapped in bay leaves (Vayana ila) and steamed.

Ingredients :
Jack fruit pulp - 1 cup
Roasted rice flour - 1 cup
Jaggery - 1 cup
Grated Coconut - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Banana leaves or vazhana  Leaves

Method :

Grate jaggery and mix with grated coconut in a grinder adding little water. Grind coarsely. Add rest of the ingredients, mix thoroughly. Keep for 10 minutes. The batter should be little more thicker than dosa batter. Use the leaves and steam the kumbilappam.
