Aloo Poha

Ingredients :

   
Aval (thick) - 1cup
Onion -  
Green Chillies -  
Potatoes -  
Turmeric powder -  
Lemon juice -  
Salt -  
Mustard -  
Curry leaves -  
Sugar - 1/4 tsp

Cooking Method :

  • Wash Poha under running water for 2 mts and drain

  • Heat a tsp of oil in a pan add mustard seeds when it splutters add onion and saute till it becomes transparant, add green chilli, cubed potatoes and salt and lid it till potatoes are cooked.

  • By this time poha would have become soft. Fluff it gently with a fork and add to the mix . Mix it with lemon juice, Sugar, turmeric.

  • Lid and keep for 2-3 mts. Garnish with coriander leaves and crushed peanuts and grated coconut and aloo poha is ready to serve.
