Tomato Fry

Ingredients :    
Tomato (cut in to small cubes) - 4 no
Onion chopped - 3 no
Mustard seeds - 2 tsp
Curry leaves -  
Turmeric powder - 2 tsp
Chilly powder - 3 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Salt -

  • Put the pan on the stove and heat oil in it.

  • Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.

  • Now add curry leaves into it.

  • Next step is to put chopped onions into the pan and saute it till golden brown.

  • Then put the tomatoes also to the pan.

  • Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and garam masala powder into it.

  • If it is dry, pour some water into the mixture to make a thick gravy.

  • Now you can add the required amount of salt into the mixture.

  • Saute well till it forms a thick consistency.

  • Now turn off the pan and let it cool.

When it is cool you can serve it in a serving dish. It is a good accompaniment for Chappathi, bread etc.
