Marinate fish with chilli,tumuric and salt.take a pan, heat the oil, then light fry the fish. Remove the fish from the pan and add green chilly, onion and curry leave to the same pan. Saute well to 5 to 10 minutes. After done add ginger, garlic paste. After a while add tomato. When tomato cooked, add turmuric,coriander powder,garam masala,fennel powder,pepper,methi leaves,salt. Mix well. After 3 minutes, add yogurt, mix, add coriander leave. Then add the fish to the masala. Cover the fish with masala. Close the lid for short while. Remove it from the fire.
For rice, boil the water, add salt, cinnamon, cardomom, clove and 1tsp ghee/oil. Then add the washed rice.pressure cook it for 2 whistles.
Take a vessel, add I tsp ghee , round the vessel. Then add fish masala, after that add some rice. Then sprinkle pinch of garram masala, ghee,coriander leave. Then add fish masala,rice,sprinkle garam masla,ghee,coriander leave. continou the process.
After that closes the lid and heat for five minute in low flame. When the lid become hot, close the flame. Open the lid, and finally add 1 tsp ghee into the biriyani. Fish biriyani ready. Serve with cucumber or onoin raita.
Note: You can add spices on your taste. Increase the ghee or oil if u like. Fish biriyani is taste more when it cool.
