Mutton Patties

Minced Mutton

- 250 gm

Potatoes boiled

- 500 gm

Chopped big onion

- 2 nos

Green Chilly

- 6 nos


- a small piece


- 2 slice

Garam masala powder

- 1 tsp

Chopped coriander leaves

- a pinch


- to taste

Lime juice

- 1 tsp
Oil  - to fry

Method :

Soak the bread pieces in water and squeeze it well. Mix this bread pieces with boiled potato, lime juice and salt and keep it aside. Cook the minced mutton with sufficient salt. Dry the excess liquid.

Grind green chilly and ginger. Heat some oil in a pan and add chopped onions and ginger-chilly paste. Sauté it well. Add minced meat, garam masala and coriander leaves. Mix all the contents well and keep it aside.

Divide the potato mixture and the meat mixture into equal parts. Make a small ball with each portion of the meat mixture. Cover this with the potato mixture and press it.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties in it. Fry till golden brown and serve hot.

Note: Vegetarians can use sprouted lentils instead of the meat mixture. When you fry patties, make sure that the oil is hot enough so that the patties doesn't break.
