Clean & cut duck into pieces. Marinate with ½ tsp of chilly powder, salt and turmeric powder. Keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, chopped onion along with required salt and mix well.
Now add chopped ginger and garlic, ginger garlic paste and chopped green chilly and again mix it.
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder and saute.
Then add tomatoes and again mix well. Now you can add the duck pieces into the pan, mix well, add a cup of water and close the lid. Cook it on medium flame for 15 to 20 minutes.
Once it gets cooked pan, open the lid and add a cup of coconut milk along with some more pepper powder and mix well.
Then add chopped coriander leaves and saute well till the gravy thickens. The secret is to roast the ingredients well on low fire. Make sure that the duck is well done.
Now our Duck Pepper Roast is ready. Transfer it to a serving bowl and serve hot.
