Kilikoodu literally meaning 'Bird's nest' in Malayalam, is a popular, crispy Malabar snack from North Kerala. It is basically a mixture of egg or meat, potato, carrots etc, coated with vermicelli and deep fried.

Ingredients :

Boil Quail Eggs
Potato
Carrot
Semiya
Oil
Beaten Egg

Cooking Method :

First we have to boil quail eggs and keep it aside. Then we have to cook different vegetables like potato, carrot etc. and make a masala mixture with it.

Then we will make small balls of it with one boiled quail egg at the center. Later, we will dip them in beaten egg and roll it over crushed semiya. Deep fry it oil and your 'Killikoodu' is ready.
