Soya Chunks Fry

Soy Chunks - 1 cup
Turmeric Powder - 1 ½ tsp
Water - to boil
Tomato - 2 nos cut into fine blocks
Green Chillies - 4 nos (chopped)
Salt - to taste
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Curry leaves -  
Oil - to fry
Mustard seeds - 1 ½ tsp
Coriander leaves -

Cooking Method

Heat water in a vessel, add turmeric powder. When it boils put soy chunks in to it. When the water foams up and the soya chunks gets soaked and becomes soft, remove from fire.

Strain the water and set it aside.

Splutter mustard seeds in oil in a pan.

Then put green chillies and curry leaves in to it, followed by tomato cubes.

Sauté till it forms a sauce like consistency. Add water if necessary.

Put Garam masala and salt into the sauce and sauté it well.

Then add the soy chunks in the mixture and mix it well to blend.

Add pepper powder for flavor and garnish with coriander leaves.

Take the dish out from the stove, when the gravy thickens..
