Curd rice or Thayir Sadam, a common South Indian traditional dish is made with rice, fresh yogurt, tempered with spices and curry leaves.

As a first step, boil the rice well. Use white rice preferably Ponni or Basmathi, which is easily available in the market.
Ingredients
Oil	-	3 tbsp
Mustard seeds	-	3 tsp
Dried Red chilly	-	4 nos
Water	-	3 cups
Boiled rice	-	3 cups
Curd	-	2 cups
Chopped green chilly	-	3 nos
Coriander leaves	-	as required

Method :

Put the pan on the stove. Heat oil, add mustard seeds and red chillies into it. When it splutters, turn off the stove and pour water in to the pan. Add boiled rice, curd, chopped green chillies and coriander leaves into the pan. Mix all ingredients finely. Now the dish is ready.

You can garnish it and serve hot...
