Method of Preparation :
To begin with, heat oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté till they turn into a light brown shade. Now add green chillies, garlic, followed by ginger, curry leafs, salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and garam masala. Stir-fry the ingredients for some time. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
When they are almost done, add the mashed potatoes to the mixture and combine well. Keep it aside in a bowl.
Now to prepare the semi- liquid batter, take gram flour in a bowl and add salt, turmeric powder and water, knead well, so that no lumps are formed.
Make balls from the potato mixture, dip them in the batter and deep-fry the balls in oil on medium flame. When one side is done, turn over the other side and fry well.
