Sikkimese Fish Curry

Ingredients :

 
Fish
- 500gm (cut in to pieces)
Bay leaves
- 2
Clove
- 4
Tomato puree
- 5 tbsp
Green chillies
- 4 split
Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp
Garam masala
- 1 tsp
Oil
- 4 tbsp
Melted butter
- 1 1/2 tsp
Blend to smooth paste
   
Red chilies
- 5
Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp
Cumin seeds
- 3 tsp
Ginger
- 3 cm piece
Tamarind
   
Salt

Method:

Heat the oil in a pan, add bay leaves, split green chilies, cloves and the paste.

Fry till the oil begins to separate. Add the fish pieces along with sugar and salt. Add a little water and simmer.

Add the tomato puree and garam masala and bring to a boil. Add melted butter to the dish.
