Remove the crust from all sides of the bread and slice the bread lengthwise into 2 equal parts.
Mix all the dry ingredients together. Gram flour, rice flour, asafoetida, cumin seeds and salt.
Add enough water and mix again to make a slightly thin batter.
Now add chopped green chillies along with chopped cilantro and mix well.
Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat and dip the bread slices in the batter one at a time and slowly drop into the frying pan. Flip over occasionally.
Fry the bread slices until both sides turn golden brown in colour.
Crispy, delicious Bread Pakodas are ready. Transfer to a serving platter and serve hot.
