Heat some oil in a pan, add raw garam masala,onion, ginger,garlic, green chilly, ginger garlic paste and saute well.
When onion changes its color, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilly powder, chopped tomato, salt and again saute well for some time & close the pan for 4-5 mins. Switch off the stove and wait for some time,
When the dish cools down move it to a mixer jar and blend it well with some coconut milk. Take the same pan, put chicken pieces and add the masala mixture and mix well. Switch on the stove close the pan with a lid & cook on a medium flame.
After 10-20 minutes open the lid and add coconut milk and mix well. Cook for 3-4 mins till the gravy thickens.
Move it to a serving bowl your Chicken Mappas is ready...
