Banana Cutlet

Banana cutlet is a pure vegetarian cutlet and can be considered as a snack recipe. The purely vegetarian snack does not have potatoes if you have worries related to gastric issues. The Banana cutlet when served with tea is a perfect combination for evening tea parties or for brunch.

Ingredients :

Raw Plantain Banana - 2 no
Grated coconut - 1 bowl
Cardamom powder - ½ tsp
Bread crump's - 2-3 cups
Oil - 1 tbsp

Cooking Method :

Lets start by boiling 2 bananas in a pressure cooker with 2 liters of water in it. Cook for around 15-20 minutes until the raw banana turns soft. Take out the cooked banana and let it cool.

Peel off the banana skin and mash it using slotted spoon. Add a bowl full of grated coconut into the mashed Banana and knead to make dough. Mix in a teaspoon of cardamom powder for flavor. Shape round shape cutlets out of the dough using your palm and fingers. Dip the cutlets in bread crumps for a grainy outer layer. Fry the cutlets in oil in a frying pan. Remove using a slotted spoon, once the cutlets turn golden brown in color. Serve Banana cutlets hot.

You can make this mouth-watering snack for evening tea parties or for brunch.
