Clean green gram dal and rice and soak them separately.
Heat 2dsp oil and saute the ingredients from 3 to 7. Add the rice and
dal into it and fry them lightly.
Cook well by adding double the quantity of water and
salt to taste till done.
Saute onion and ginger in 2dsp oil till reddish brown and add
this to the kichadi. Stir well.
