A north Indian delicacy, Gajar ka Halwa is filled with the healthy goodness of Carrot.

This halwa is popular among sweet lovers and a must during festivities.

Ingredients :
Carrot - 500gm
Milk - 1litre
Sugar - 500gm
Ghee - 4tbs

Method :

Peel and grate the carrot. Boil milk till it reduces to more than half its quantity. Add the grated carrot to the milk.

Cook till the carrots are soft , add sugar and stir well. When it thickens, add ghee. When the content leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire and pour evenly on a greased vessel.
