Egg Veg Toast

A popular street food snack... healthy and easy recipe you should try making at home.

Ingredients :

Wheat bread - 6 slices
Eggs - 3 nos
Milk - quarter cup
Salt - to taste
Veg masala - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Beans - 1-2 nos
Grated carrot - 1-2 tsp
Butter - 120 gm

Cooking Method :

Cut off the sides of the wheat bread slices. Half the bread slices, and keep aside in pairs.

Take a glass bowl, and break three eggs into it and beat well. Add quarter cup of milk for fluffiness, followed by ingredients half tsp of salt, spices such as veg masala and garam masala. Add veggies one by one.. chopped beans and 1-2 tbsp of grated carrot and continue to beat. And here our beaten egg combination is ready.

Keep a shallow pan on stove at medium flame, you may use butter instead of oil for frying purpose. Soak the formerly sliced bread pieces in the egg mixture. Add chopped beans and grated carrots as toppings, repeat the same procedure with other bread slices. Fry till slightly crisp. Serve hot.
