Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Then add white lentils and fry until it turns brown.
Now add curry leaves and chopped green chillies and sauté for 1 minute. Now add chopped onion, turmeric powder, followed by salt and sugar.
Add Oats to it... Fry for a minute and add 1-cup water. Mix all the ingredients together and cook well for 10 minutes in medium flame.
Let it come dry without much water.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot...
