Now lets move to the making part. Take a pan and roast the red chillies without oil. When it turns to dark maroon, remove it from the fire.
Now add coconut, chopped onion, garlic, and coriander powder. Roast it for two or three minutes. When the coconut will get flimsy, take the mixture out of the pan.
Now grind the mixture with salt and tamarind in a very little water. See the chutney is ready. It's a great combination with rice.
