Heat oil in a non-stick pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, green chillies, curry leaves & diced onion. Saute well and cook until onions are light golden in colour.
Add cubed potatoes, salt, coriander powder, garam masala powder and chilly powder. Saute well, cover and cook until potatoes turn tender.
Add in crumbled chapattis, lime juice & garnish with coriander leaves and necessary salt.
Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot!
