Raw Onion Chutney

Onions, unquestionably, are one of the most widely used ingredients in your kitchen.. They are used to flavour curries, as well as on their own in side dishes. Let me introduce onion chutney, which is had as an accompaniment to the main course.

Ingredients :

Onions Chopped - 2 cups
Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/2tsp
Vinegar - 2-3 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp (optional)

Cooking Method :

Add 2 cups of chopped onions into a glass bowl. To this add a tsp of Red chilly powder and a pinch of salt. To further improve the flavor you can include 2-3 tsp of vinegar, a tsp of oil preferably coconut oil and whip lightly to blend the flavor until the desired consistency is achieved. Your Onion Chutney is ready to serve.

Onion Chutney is best when served with Fried rice or steam rice or as an accompaniment to tapioca dishes.
