Onion Chutney

Ingredients:    
Onion chopped - 1 cup
Red chillies - 5 nos
Channa dal - 2 tbsp
Garlic - 6-7 flakes
Tamarind - little
Salt - for taste
Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
Curry leaves - few
Oil - to fry

Procedure:

Heat oil in a pan..

Fry chillies, dal, garlic and the onions, till golden brown.

Grind the fried ingredients with tamarind and salt in a mixer.

Splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves in oil and pout it to the mixture.

Mix well...

Now you can serve it with Dosa, Idly or even Chappathi or Paratha.
