procedure:

Soak the toor dal for an hour so that it will be easy for you to grind it. Keep it aside and let us move to the making part.

Fry the red chillies and keep it aside.

Grind toor dal, dried red chillies, hing and tamarind extract together to get a smooth paste. Add this paste to the rice batter. Add some water to get a smooth mixture. To this mixture add chopped onions and cabbage. Don't forget to add salt. Now the batter is ready.

Heat a tawa and drizzle some oil in it. Carefully spread a spoonful of batter on the tawa. Turn over the dosa to cook both sides. Once both sides turn golden brown take it from the tawa. Serve hot. The most interesting part of it is you can have it without any accompaniments, and it is a healthy dish too.
