A story which everyone knows. A story of everyone . A story which nobody
has said yet.
' Veruthe oru Bharya ' is about the life of Sugunan who is an Overseer
in the Electricity Board and his housewife Bindu. Their 14 year old
daughter Anjana is a ninth standard student.
Sugunan, who is very honest and meticulous in office matters, is a
typical male chauvinist at home. For him, a wife is just a person who
has to meet all his needs at the right time. He never acknowledges his
wife's efforts around the house. He believes that he is the sole caretaker
at home and his wishes should be met at all times. He does not even
allow his wife to visit her house. Not surprisingly, quarrels on small
issues become a common feature in that house.
His wife, Bindu, hasn't got the love and care which she had expected
from him for the past 15 years. At last, tired of the inconsiderate
behavior of her husband, she decided to retire from the responsibilities
of a housewife. The story takes a humorous turn from the day she stops
doing her routine household work. In fact, the comedy of 'Veruthe Oru
Bharya' starts from here...
