After the mega succes of Thommanum makkalum, Mammooty and Shafi again teams up with a new film 'Mayavi'.

This film tells the story of a handsome guy named Mahi I.A.S (Mammootty) who always tries to maintain law and order in the society . He is in a dilemma because of the many problems happening in society. He always gives solutions to all these problems which come to his notice. His way of solving problems is quite different, he secretly solves the problems in his own style. His main aim is to make people lead a happy life.

Gopika plays the female lead. Vijaya Raghavan,Salim Kumar, Manikuttan, Sai Kumar, Jajathi, Manoj K.Jayan, Spadikam George, K.P.C. Lalitha , Manka Mahesh, NImisha are also in the cast.

'Mayavi' is being produced by P. Rajan under the banner of Vaishak Movies.The film is scripted by the popular director Rafi Mecartin. Sanjeev Shankar is the cinematographer. Lyrics by Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma have been set to tune by Alex Pol.
