After watching "Khatarnack" many would believe that director Amma Rajsekar's maiden hit "Ranam" was a fluke.

He has borrowed bits and pieces from films like "Mr. Socrates" and "Mein Hoon Na" and incorporated it in "Khatarnack'. The result is an unconvincing hotchpotch.

It is surprising that a shrewd producer like B.V.S.N. Prasad, who made smashing hit "Chatrapati", approved this kind of script.

After the success of "Vikramarkudu", a trite flick, action star Ravi Teja seems to have become over-confident as he chooses another mindless thriller.

His transition from a good-for-nothing guy into an idealistic cop is poorly established. Probably, he is opting for scripts that only showcase his typical mannerisms but the tactic can rebound.

Illeana has been described as a sensational discovery after hits like "Pokiri". But she puts her newfound stardom at stake by playing a clichéd, glam-doll role.

Baddie Biju Menon tries hard to salvage a poorly conceived role, while comedians Venu Madhav and his band manage to evoke a few laughs.

Prakash Raj is wasted in a cop's role. Composer Keeravani disappoints with an eminently forgettable album.

Perhaps choreographer-turned-director Rajsekar was in a hurry to cash in on his "Ranam" success and made this film without any planning and reparation.

He needs to hone up his skills to stay in the reckoning or he will be forced to go back to choreography.

The story is about a street-smart aimless guy (Ravi). A don (Biju) is on the lookout for someone who can be planted as a mole in the police department.

He zeroes in on Ravi and enrolls him in 10th class in a school. Predictably, the boy falls in love with his teacher (Illeana). After passing out he becomes a traffic policeman. Watch the film, if you want to know the rest.
