Music composer Pritam Chakraborty has packed in hip-hop to bhangra to pop-qawwali tracks for his romantic comedy "Pyaar Ke Side Effects" that stars Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose.

The title song "Pyar Karke" - a mix of bhangra beats and hip-hop lyrics - is a chartbuster already. Mayur Puri's lyrics seem to have gone down well with many.

Labh Janjua who sang "Mundiye to bachke" for "Boom" has stirred up passions once again by lending his voice to the song. Its remixed version, a blend of rhythmic pulse, hip-hop chorus, drumbeats and western music, is also a smash hit.

In "Dil tod ke na jaa" Sufi music is combined with pop-qawwali and upcoming singer Rakesh Pandit croons about the painful journey of love a la Altaf Raja.

With loads of funky disco cultured music and sensuous chorus, the song promises to be a hit.

The remix sounds catchier in terms of musical presentation, but Mika's voice is no match for Pandit's Sufi flair. However, he succeeds in giving it a snazzy feel.

Zubin Garg of "Ya Ali" fame lends his vocals for the romantic ballad "Jaane kya". The Sarangi and tabla beats make it all the more special.

Puri mixes the Uttar Pradesh lingo with sentimental English lyrics to turn it into a work of fusion. If this soundtrack is aesthetically choreographed and promoted, then it will boost up audio sales.

"Is this love" is a romantically intimidating song and its electric guitar beats raise the tempo for a perfect evening. Kunal Ganjawala sings his notes softly and Sunidhi Chauhan makes the track all the more melodious.

"Bad boy" is a sensuous, naughty and mischievous song. Alisha Chinai's voice matches Mallika Sherawat's oomph. It is a pub number that has spicy hip-hop, sensuous vocals and whimpers.

Pritam's musical entertainer could be treat for party animals and disco freaks.
