Johny Antony, one of the noted commercial directors among the young lot, is teaming up with 'Classmates' script writer James Albert for the new venture 'Cycle'. Renowned Actor Sreenivasan's son Vineet, a well known playback singer, is venturing as an actor through this movie. Other major roles are handled by 'Nivedhyam' fame Vinu Mohan and Bhama, and Tamil actress 'Kathal' fame Sandhya. The film is named Cycle, as life according to script writer James Albert is an art of balancing just like cycling.

The film deals with the high hopes, desires and dreams of a young generation, in which fate plays a definite role. The story revolves around a shopping mall in Kochi, where four youth are employed. Vineet plays Roy, a cashier of Kousthubhan Financiers and Sanju (Vinu Mohan), a salesman of World Electronics functioning in the same complex. Bhama portrays Annie, an office staff in a travel agency. Meenakshi (Sandhya), daughter of Kousthubhan spends her time in the complex. They are all good friends. An unexpected turn of events on a New Year's Eve, change their lives forever...

Others in the cast include Murali, Sai Kumar, Cochin Haneefa, T G Ravi, Saddique, Anoop Chandran, Jagathy etc. The film is produced by Thilakan Thandasseri, Sunny Kuruvila and Viswanathan Nair under the banner of Master Cinema. Shaji handles the camera for the film. Mejo Joseph composes music for the songs penned by Anil Panachooran.

The film shot in locales in Thrissur, Ernakulam and Mumbai would be brought to the theatres by Lal Creations release in February.
