Gooseberry the wonder fruit rich in vitamin C and other nutrients like Iron has many health and beauty benefits.

Antioxidant properties of Amla juice make it a super nutritional drink.

Ingredients :

Gooseberry - 1 or 2 no
Honey - 1 tbsp
Ginger - 1" piece
Water - 1 glass
Sugar - 1 or 2 tbsp

Preparation :

In a juicer, add sliced gooseberry , honey, ginger, sugar along with water and blend well.

Gooseberry juice is ready. Transfer it to a glass and serve chilled.

You can store pure juice of say, 10 gooseberries without water in the fridge and use it later by adding water. You could try variations - add a green chilly, use salt instead of sugar, add lemon juice or a pinch of cumin powder for taste. Amla juice helps in flushing out toxins, supports digestion & liver function, burn fat, control cholesterol & diabetes, aids hair growth etc.
