Potato Toffee

Ingredients :

   
Potato - 500 gms
Sugar - 750 gms
Condensed milk - 1 small can
Butter - 4 tsp
Vanilla flavour - 1 tsp
Cashew nuts   few

Cooking Method :

To make the sugar syrup, combine 1/4 cup water with 750 gms sugarin a saucepan.

Add the boiled and mashed potato and stire it in low fire.

Now add Condensed milk and keep stirring continuously for about 1/2 an hour until the mixture gets thick.

Then add butter and vanilla essence and continue stirring until mixture leaves the sides of the pan.

Add cashew nuts and keep stirring until comes thicker. Pour the mixture into greased tray and let it cool.

Now take it out from the tray and cut into desired sizes.
