Known as the 'King of the Terriers', the dog is large with a rough coat. Airedale is a loyal and faithful companion, playful with children, aloof with strangers and ready to protect family and property if the need arises. The name from a Yorkshire district.

Native:Great Britain

Height:23 inches

Weight:20.5 -27 kg.

Colour:Body-saddle, top of neck and top surface of tail, black or grizzle, all other parts tan.

Coat:Hard, dense and wiry with a soft undercoat.

Temperament:Intelligent, responsive, oyal.

Life Span:12-14years.
