Yeh tera ghar Yeh mera ghar
Cast
: Sunil Shetty, Mahima Chaudhary , Paresh Rawal, Saurabh Shukla
Director
: Priyadarshan
Music
: Anand-Milind
Producer
: Ripples

Priyadarshan's new film 'Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar' with Sunil Shetty in the lead role is a comic entertainer although nowhere compared to the original 'Sanmanasullavarku Samadhanam' in Malayalam, which was hilarious.

The story revolves around Dayashankar Pande (Sunil Shetty) whose father passes away leaving a lot of debt and a house in Mumbai. Dayashanker comes to Mumbai to sell the house and payoff all the debts. But the tenant Saraswathy Joshi (Mahima Chaudhary) and her family refuses to leave the house. Dayashankar who has no other go, tries all sorts of measures to vacate them but to no avail. Dayashankar seeks the help of his old friend O.P Yadav (Paresh Rawal) who is an inspector. In the beginning, Yadav genuinely wants to help Dayashankar and but when he meets Saraswathy he falls flat for her. Now he starts shifting loyalties to please them both.

Dayashankar fed up of the way things are moving, shifts to the house and tries to make life miserable for the tenants family. Saraswati on the other hand takes the help of her uncle (Saurabh Shukla) to get rid of Dayashankar. The comical events that follow sort of makes the movie. The story takes a turn, when Dayashankar discovers the real reason for Saraswathy's reluctance to vacate the house.

Sunil Shetty acts his part as Dayashankar with ease. He once again proves his flair for comedy. Paresh Rawal with his comical facial expressions and his prancing around to woo Saraswathy will have you in splits. He has done his small role brilliantly. Cinematography is good, but the music by Anand- Milind is just average. Compared to other songs in the movie, the songs "Saraswathy yeh tera ghar yeh mera ghar" and "Govinda" are better. The dialogues are witty and perfectly timed. But the pace of the movie is slow.

Overall the movie is passable as a light entertainer.
