Maharashtra, one of the wonderful states of India, situated at the north centre of Indian peninsula and is bordered by the states of Karnataka, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.

It is the centre of many religious and cultural traditions. In Maharashtrian villages, life revolves around fairs and festivals. Maharashtra is also a well known industrial state of India. Commercially, Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur are the well developed cities.
