| Cooking Method : Take 200 gms of gram flour and mix it well with half
      cup of water to make a semi-thin batter. Add a pinch of cardamom powder
      for taste. Whisk the batter for five minutes till it gets foamy.   In a pan heat sugar, when it starts melting add some
      water and boil till it turns brown in colour. Keep the sugar syrup aside.  Now in another pan heat some vegetable oil. Pour 2
      spoonful of batter into a perforated spoon held a little above the pan.
      Stir the boondi and fry till they turn crispy and golden.   Take out and drop the boondi in the sugar syrup kept
      ready. Keep on turning the boondi in the syrup to let it absorb and soak
      in the syrup.  |
