It is the story of a teenage girl who is sexually abused by her stepfather. Nidhi (Amritha Prakash) is an intelligent, bright student. She has a small household, her mother Arundhati (Bhanupriya), stepfather Mohan (Suresh Krishna), her little sister and her dog. She calls her stepfather 'Pappa'. Sandeep (Jayakrishnan) a teenage boy, is a close friend of Nidhi.

The film begins with Nidhi narrating her story to the audience. It is a forbidden story of a frantic teenager. Her mother Arundhati is a successful business woman who runs a super mall in the city. Mohan is supposed to be gentleman who takes care of his family.

Everything is fine on the facade. But as the story unfolds, Nidhi accuses that Mohan has been sexually abusing her. She tries to keep it to herself but she cannot do it anymore. Her busy working mother has no inkling about it. Nidhi concludes that the only way to get out of the mess is by killing her stepfather Mohan. With the help of Sandeep and a neighbor Manuel Uncle (Lalu Alex), Nidhi plans a murder plot. But everything goes wrong with their plans and the story takes a turn in a different direction.

Veteran story teller, Kamal, boldly narrates a touching story of a confused girl. He portrays the mental trauma of the little girl very well. The movie puts some light on the forbidden theme of child abuse and it might help to bring out the real life stories of other 'Nidhi's' who may be suffering silently.

The director puts a touch of reality into the film. This well directed film vividly conveys the ways in which innocent kids can get badly abused by selfish thoughtless adults. The new comer, Amritha Prakash is a promising star. She presents an excellent performance as Nidhi. Most of the remaining cast puts in a decent performance. Music by Alphonse Joseph is mediocre.

We rate this movie Above Average.
