Director Venky brings together in "Mogudu Pellam O Dongodu" handsome Raja and pretty Shreya to play a newly-wed couple faced with an intruder at home. It is a unique plot revolving around only the three main characters.

The film is about two hours spent between the bride and the groom before they go in for their nupitals. Satya (Shreya), the bride stalls her anxious husband Sriram (Raja) saying that the auspicious time to go to bed is at 12 pm as told to her by her grandmother. They wile away the time by talking to each other.

Young Raja, after doing a few insignificant roles, came into limelight as a 'lover boy' in "Anand". Now, he has picked a unique plot displaying his taste for variety. He plays a US-retuned guy who marries a village girl. Shreya, once a hot contender for the top slot, hit a lean patch with flops like "Naa Alludu" and "Subhas Chandra". But she proves her mettle here as a teasing wife. They have good chemistry together..

Ace comedian Brahmanandam, recently honoured with a doctorate by the Nagarjuna University, evokes laughter as a petty robber. He unknowingly hides in the nuptial room and witnesses the petty quarrels of the couple.

Venky showed promise by blending sport with love in his earlier film "Kabbadi Kabbadi".

This time he relies on realism. It is difficult to engage the audience with just one location and three characters, but he manages to succeed. Script could have been better.

Young producer Anathkumar intends to make his mark with experimental films and his maiden attempt is entertaining and encouraging.
