Something different from the current trend...Raaz is a psycho thriller worth a look.

Sanjana Dhanraj (Bipasha Basu) and Aditya (Dino Morea) a young couple realises that their marriage is going nowhere. They decide to go back to Ooty- the place they fell in love to give it one more shot. But what awaits them there is a nightmare...

Sanjana encounters strange things in the house they stay in ..eerie sounds and weird scenes. She resolves to solve the mystery that threatens to break her marriage forever. Sanjana seeks the help of an occultist, Professor Agni ( Ashutosh Rana ) whom she meets through her friend (Shruti Ultaf ).

The drama unfolds.. the wandering spirit who has been after her is one Malini (Malini) who had an affair with Aditya before. When Sanjana comes to know what happened during their affair that made Malini into what she is, she decides to end her marriage.

Now Aditya become the spirits target. The professor coaxes and convinces Sanjana to save her husband from the clutches of the spirit. How she goes about it is the climax of the film. In the end she figures out the truth and unites with her husband.

The effects are pretty good especially in the climax and may keep the audience glued to their seats. Bipasha has given a wonderful performance considering Raaz is only the second movie she has enacted in. Ashutosh Rana as the creepy looking Professor Agni has done his part well contributing to the scary atmosphere of the film. Dino Morea and newcomer Malini are okay and looks good. .

The Credit goes to Director Vikram Bhatt for churning out a good horror film with just the right ingredients.

We rate the film as good.
