Here is a very different story that may be not easy to digest by the masses, by a debutant director Prawal Raman who worked as assistant to Ram Gopal Varma. The innovative attempt has definitely the bold stamp of his mentor.

There are six stories woven into a seventh story which makes the film... confused ? well, the main story is about seven friends who on their way home after holidaying in Goa get stuck in a deserted forest area when their car breaks down. They have no choice but to wait till morning to get help and resume their journey. They find a place, light a bon fire and starts sharing strange or bizzare instances that they've heard or experienced.

As each of them narrate their episodes, unknown to them they themselves get entwined into a strange horrifying world in the dark isolated forest. The narrations mostly based on simple, mundane things some of them even unbelievable, begins with that of a young married couple ( Antra Mali and Sohail Khan). Just like them, the couple gets stranded in a dense forest and something strange happens...

Then comes the story of Saif Ali who is a photographer who on his way to Mumbai halts in an inn for the night. There he meets the eccentric owner who hates smokers and cigarettes. The next one is that of a teacher ( Raghuvir Yadav) who has an encounter with a strange kid, who always was backward in studies but suddenly turns bright one day.
The fourth instance is that of a housewife Shilpa Shetty being wary of apples bought from a weird vendor (Rajpal Yadav). The next and the most interesting instance is a car ride with Vivek Oberoi and Nana Patekar and the conversation between them. Vivek gives Nana Patekar a lift to the city from the front of a graveyard. The next is about a complex personality Aftab Shivdasani who feels neglected and involves a simple childhood game between him and Isha Koppikar wherein he gets certain strange powers.
The stories told one after the other are brief and are bizarre enough to make the audience glued to their seats. But some of them are unbelievable. The director should have given more attention to the script of the stories. Technically the film is perfect. The cinematography and the background score are excellent. But the climax is shoddy. There are no songs in the movie and actually there is no need for them in the flow of the film.

Vivek Oberoi and the veteran Nana Patekar have done their parts well, in the most interesting storyline in the film. Shilpa Shetty is good but Saif's role is not well defined. Newcomer Gaurav shows promise. The rest of the cast are okay.

The frantically cut sequences, endless mobile phone chats, airplane landings, moodily lit interiors and relentless killings galore in this film. Cinematographer Hemant Chaturvedi's camera captures the nuances of violence and death. However, Chandan Arora's editing and Sandeep Chowta's background score leave much to be desired.
