Denise Quiñones, the stunning beauty from Puerto Rico became the 4th Puerto
Rican winner of Miss Universe Contest. It was the first time that
a woman outside of US mainland had taken the Miss Universe crown held
in her own homeland. Denise was born in Lares in Puerto Rico. She
earned a bachelors degree in communication from the University of Puerto
Rico. She was inspired by her grand mother to get the Miss Universe Title.
Her poise, grace, and most importantly, her fluency and articulacy in
both Spanish and English, tipped the scales in her favor. After completing
her duties as Miss Universe, she attended the School for Film and Television's
two-year Conservatory Acting Program. Now as an actress she hones her
talent in the United States. |
