Holi

Holi is the festival of colors, celebrated on the full moon day (Phalgun Purnima) of February end or early March. It is the blossoming of flowers and fields in the country. On this day people spreads each other with gulal and coloured water. It is celebrated for a week for getting a good harvest and fertility of the land. Men, women and children take part in the celebration. This festival is famous in towns and cities more than villages. According to Hindu Mythology holi is also the festival related to the etternal love of Lord Krishna and Radha
